Turning “Someone Should Make That” Into Reality
If you’ve spent enough time around competition shooting, hunting, or archery, you’ve probably found yourself thinking, “I wish someone made this.” I know I have.
Many of the ideas I work on come from solving problems that simply don’t have a good solution on the market. For example, I wanted a custom grip for the M1A Blackfeather RS, that does not leave a gap between the grip and the trigger guard. Instead of waiting around for someone to make one, I made it happen myself. Another example was wanting the appearance and ergonomics of a SOPMOD-style setup for a brace configuration. Since a SOPMOD brace doesn’t exist, I am designing a cheek riser that works with existing braces to achieve the fit and feel I was looking for.
This project exists to bring those niche ideas to life. Every design is created because it’s something I genuinely wanted to build, not because it was part of a product catalog.
Built With Quality Materials
I don’t believe prototypes should feel like cheap plastic. That’s why I primarily print with PA612CF15, a carbon-fiber reinforced nylon chosen for its excellent combination of strength, durability, rigidity, and heat resistance. It produces functional parts that are designed to stand up to real-world use while maintaining a professional appearance.
The Process
Every part begins as an idea, followed by drawings, then a digital concept, with multiple prototype revisions, and test fitting before a final version is printed.
Each print typically requires 6 to 12 hours of machine time depending on size and complexity. After printing, I personally inspect every piece, remove support material, sand away burrs and imperfections, and perform final quality checks before it is considered complete.
For supporters selecting the premium option, I also hand sand and polish the exterior surfaces to provide a cleaner, more refined finish.

About the BF Grip…
The BF Grip is an AR Grip that is designed to minimize/eliminate the space between the traditional AR Grip and the Trigger Guard. The BF Grip on the left eliminates the empty space between the grip and guard by partially wrapping around the Trigger Guard for an aesthetic enhancement. The BF Grip on the right minimizes the empty space between the grip and guard, allowing for the guard rotation when removing the Trigger Group. It is to be noted that, in some of the Blackfeather RS install videos by community members, it is highlighted that due to the snug fit of the Trigger Group within the chassis, it may not be necessary for the rotation of the Trigger Guard. However, if using the BF Grip that partially wraps around, then it is necessary to remove the BF Grip prior to removing the Trigger Group.
